Tax Soda, Subsidize Vegetables

Rather than subsidizing the production of unhealthful foods, we should turn the tables and tax things like soda, French fries, doughnuts and hyperprocessed snacks. The resulting income should be earmarked for a program that encourages a sound diet for Americans by making healthy food more affordable and widely available.

Campbell Soup Terrorism

Pamela Geller is at it again.  You remember her, don’t you?  She is the woman who brought you the Ground Zero Mosque that was neither a Mosque nor at Ground Zero.  Now she is asking you to boycott Campbell Foods because the corporation’s Canadian subsidiary is test marketing a line of soups that are certified as Halal.
