The City of Champaign is now in the process of formulating a budget for fiscal year 2011. There has been much discussion concerning making another $2million in cuts which is getting close to making us *feel* the cuts in personnel and City services. There is another "tool in the box" that would help the City by extending the timeline for repayment of current debt and refinancing at a lower interest rate. I feel that it should have serious consideration.
